Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends is the critically acclaimed fourth studio album from Coldplay. Released in June of 2008, the album is one of Coldplay’s most successful, selling 8 million copies worldwide and winning three Grammy Awards in 2009. Produced by a number of well-known producers, including the legendary U2 producer, Brian Eno, Viva La Vida Or Death All His Friends brings a more abstract sound to Coldplay’s music. The album produced the smash hits “Violet Hill”, “Viva La Vida”, “Lost!” and “Lovers In Japan”.

Released on July 10th of 2000, Parachutes is the debut studio album from Coldplay. The album was critically and commercially very successful, going double Platinum in the U.S. and winning the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2002. Produced by Coldplay and British record producer, Ken Nelson, Parachutes is full of catchy choruses and hauntingly beautiful melodies. It was this sound that introduced Coldplay to the world and helped them begin their journey to massive stardom. Parachutes includes the classic hits “Yellow”, “Trouble”, “Shiver” and “Don’t Panic”.

A Rush Of Blood To The Head is Coldplay’s second studio album and was released on August 26th, 2002. It has been said by critics and fans to be one of Coldplay’s best and most creative albums. The album features more piano and heavy guitar than their previous release and produced a number of popular favorites, including “In My Place”, “Clocks”, “The Scientist” and “God Put A Smile Upon Your Face”.

If there is one album that cemented Coldplay into worldwide super-stardom, it is X&Y. As the third studio album from Coldplay, this 2005 release was a massive success. X&Y was the worldwide best-selling album of 2005 and has sold over 10 million copies. It was well-received by critics and produced the massive hits “Speed Of Sound”, “Fix You”, “Talk” and “The Hardest Part”.

Live 2003 is Coldplay’s first live album release from 2003. The album features sets from July 21st and 22nd concerts in 2003 at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia. Live 2003 features memorable favorites, including “Politik”, “In My Place”, “Yellow” and “Clocks”, as well as the previously unreleased track, “Moses”, which lead singer, Chris Martin, wrote for his wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

This 2008 EP from Coldplay features left over tracks from the recording sessions for Coldplay’s fourth studio release, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. Prospekt’s March EP has sold 455,000 copies worldwide and features the stand out tracks “Life In Technicolor II”, “Lost+” featuring Jay-Z, “Glass Of Water” and “Now My Feet Won’t Touch The Ground”.
